Billing & Refund Policy

This Billing & Refund Policy explains how subscriptions and charges work on the TaxPulse platform (the "Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. The plans, prices, and what each includes are shown at the time you select a plan. By subscribing, you authorize TaxPulse to charge the payment method on file for the applicable recurring fee until you cancel.

2. Beta Period

While the Service is offered on a pre-release or beta basis, access may be provided at no charge or under special terms communicated to you. Pricing and plan features may change as the Service evolves; we will give notice of material changes before they take effect.

3. Billing Cycle and Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. The charge date is based on the date you started your paid subscription.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues through the end of the current paid period. We do not provide automatic prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period except as described below or as required by law.

5. Refunds

Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at sales@taxpulse.app and we will review the charge in good faith. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.

6. Usage-Based Charges

Some features (for example, certain client-communication or AI-assisted features) may incur usage-based charges in addition to your subscription. Any such charges, and how they are calculated, will be disclosed before you incur them.

7. Taxes

Fees are exclusive of any applicable sales, use, or similar taxes, which will be added where required.

8. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend access to paid features until the balance is resolved. We will notify you of a failed payment so you can update your payment method.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification before taking effect.
